Viktor & Rolf is a fashion brand based in Amsterdam. It was founded in 1993 by two designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren. They have been famous for fantastical and concept-based designs. Extreme ideas are carefully blended with glamorous high-fashion. The themes of their fashion shows have been very popular. The company is very much interested in international popularity. Perhaps the most popular showpiece by Viktor and Rolf is a woman dressed only in oversize pink ribbons, seen in the ‘flowerbomb’ collection. Ready-to-wear and their menswear label ‘Monsieur’ became instant successes. Women’s shoes and bags, neckties, scarves and lingerie are also made by them. Their designs show layering, distorting, exaggerating, and repeating of classical design elements.
